This is an exciting leadership opportunity to join the Education Futures Institute, Capability Branch, in the Queensland Department of Education. As a Director within the Capability Branch, you will be a valued member of the branch leadership team working to ensure the delivery of a coherent and system-wide approach to high quality, targeted capability development for all staff, educators, school and system leaders.About The Department

A key part of the Capability branch is the Education Futures Institute (EFI) that delivers high-quality, evidence-informed and equitable capability development for a diverse workforce across key career stages.
The Education Futures Institute provides high quality, targeted professional learning for staff located in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote locations across the state. The EFI empowers staff with the skills, knowledge and capability to excel in their role.

About The Role
In this pivotal role, you will lead a dynamic team to ensure the strategic implementation of the Education Futures Institute as a key system initiative.
As Director, You Will
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to contribute to and enable state-wide delivery of capability development aligned to the department's strategic vision, priorities and workforce needs.
- Lead and support a strategic approach to the development and delivery of a diverse portfolio of department wide, flagship and priority capability programs within the School Support and Corporate Capability portfolio.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including schools, regions and corporate partners, lead organisations and industry partners.
