Description:
The Advisor provides quality corporate and business services to the Regional Executive Director, senior departmental staff, managers and departmental clients including a variety of tasks that fall within the core functions of the Client Relations team.This includes preparation and coordination of ministerial & executive correspondence and complaints management.
The Advisor's Key Responsibilities Are
- Prepare and coordinate regional responses to ministerial and executive correspondence and information requests received from the offices of the Director-General and Deputies-Director General.
- Prepare and coordinate briefing notes and information requests related to regional visits (ministerial, executive and other dignitaries).
- Receive and investigate client complaints, in accordance with the complaints management policy and procedure and with regard to relevant legislation.
- Support the regional executives to deliver information and messaging to regional staff via multiple communication channels including preparation of briefing/speaking notes.
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of regional events and functions ie. ministerial visits, community events and forums.
- Provide support and advice to all regional staff in relation to privacy, confidentiality and information management.
