Piper House is a warm and welcoming residential aged care home located in Dapto, designed to provide comfort, connection, and quality care for older people. With thoughtfully designed spaces and a strong sense of community, Piper House offers a supportive environment where residents feel at home.We are currently seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Carer to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, working Saturday and Sunday shifts commencing in the morning.
About The Role
As a Lifestyle Carer at Anglicare Sydney, you will play a crucial role in enriching the lives of our residents by promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. You will work closely with our residents to develop and implement individual lifestyle plans that support their personal interests, abilities, and goals. Your compassionate and patient approach will help create a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification or
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Health Science or Community Service
- All required qualifications must be recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
- Experience in aged care or disability support is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence.

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and social engagement.

- Monitor and document residents' progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
- Collaborate with the broader care team to provide holistic support to residents.
