Description:
Haynes is currently seeking qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic & Diesel Fitters/Mechanics for a variety of exciting roles in the Rockhampton region .
Positions Available:
- Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Diesel Fitter/Mechanic
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical inspections, servicing, and maintenance of a fleet in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and SHEQ standards. Equipment includes forklifts, telehandlers, lighting towers, scissor lifts, generators, and other access equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root causes of failures.
- Complete repairs to ensure equipment is returned to full working condition.
- Accurately complete and submit all required documentation and service reports.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-hire equipment checks, reporting any damage for cost recovery.
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Perform ad hoc tasks aligned with your qualifications and experience.
Requirements:
- Trade qualification in relevant mechanical field
- Current C Class Driver's Licence (or higher)
- Previous experience working on
Highly Regarded:
- High Risk Work Licence (e.g., Forklift, EWP)
- Standard 11
