Ongoing full-time vacancy.
The Prosecution Services Branch (‘PSB’) consists of a Strategy and Support Section encompassing the Major Indictable Brief Unit, Prosecution Support Unit, Policy and Advice Officer, Prosecution Training Unit, Central Prosecution Unit and the Strategy and Support Administration Team; and an Operations Section consisting of 15 general prosecution units across metropolitan and regional South Australia.
The Prosecuting Solicitor is accountable to the Supervising Senior Prosecutor for the provision of prosecution services including adjudication, negotiation and advocacy. The Prosecuting Solicitor is expected to manage prosecution files across the full range of complexity.
The Prosecuting Solicitor is expected to act in accordance with the ethics of the legal profession.

- The incumbent may be required to work in locations in metropolitan and regional areas within South Australia.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.
Requirements
A degree in law and admitted (or eligibility to be admitted) as a practitioner of the Supreme Court of South Australia.
Possession of an unrestricted practicing certificate.
Salary
LE3 - $94,967 - $102,518 per annum.
