Description:
The successful candidate would preferably have experience, knowledge or an interest in the steel pipe, fittings and valve supply industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain customer and supplier relationships
- Manage incoming enquiries, quote requests and directing enquiries to the right department
- Support sales team with customer quoting
- Raising of purchase orders and ordering product
- Raising and processing invoices
- Support and back up the receipting of stock
- Daily eftpos and cash batching reconciliations
- Replenishment of consumables
- Assist staff with software use and minor IT issues
Education and experience
- Valid driver's license issued in NSW (Copy Required)
- Industry knowledge preferable but not essential
- Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office and MYOB
- Good time management
- Ability to Meet Set Goals
- Great customer service and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain customer confidentiality
- Willingness to learn product sales
KPI's
- Compliance with the company WHS and Quality Management Plan
- Compliance with the company Employee Handbook and procedures
- Compliance with financial requirements and end of month procedures
- Promoting a safety culture
- Ensure that purchase orders are raised for all purchases
- Ensure that invoices are generated and emailed prior to deliveries are being dispatched.
