Description:

The successful candidate would preferably have experience, knowledge or an interest in the steel pipe, fittings and valve supply industry.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer and supplier relationships
  • Manage incoming enquiries, quote requests and directing enquiries to the right department
  • Support sales team with customer quoting
  • Raising of purchase orders and ordering product
  • Raising and processing invoices
  • Support and back up the receipting of stock
  • Daily eftpos and cash batching reconciliations
  • Replenishment of consumables
  • Assist staff with software use and minor IT issues

Education and experience

  • Valid driver's license issued in NSW (Copy Required)
  • Industry knowledge preferable but not essential
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office and MYOB
  • Good time management
  • Ability to Meet Set Goals
  • Great customer service and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality
  • Willingness to learn product sales

KPI's

  • Compliance with the company WHS and Quality Management Plan
  • Compliance with the company Employee Handbook and procedures
  • Compliance with financial requirements and end of month procedures
  • Promoting a safety culture
  • Ensure that purchase orders are raised for all purchases
  • Ensure that invoices are generated and emailed prior to deliveries are being dispatched.
