Making Moves Physiotherapy was established on the Gold Coast in 2020 and has had steady growth. Our goal at Making Moves Physiotherapy is to create custom treatment programs that are tailored to our clients goals, and then helping smash them. Qualifications & experience
- Relevant Physiotherapy qualification
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current drivers licence and own car
- Up to date criminal history check
- High level of communication, interpersonal skills and time management
- Minimum of 3 years experience required - if less than this, please call first before applying to discuss. Experience in community based physiotherapy is desired but not essential.
- Vaccinations up to date
Tasks & responsibilities
- As a community based physiotherapist, you will have the ability to manage your own caseload and flexible working hours. Your day to day role will be managing and implementing land based exercise programs in home/residential facility and facilitating hydrotherapy.
- The caseload is varied involving community rehabilitation, addressing the needs of adult, paediatric and geriatric clientele
- In home assessments, assistive technology prescription, neurological rehabilitation, individual one on one exercise programs, falls prevention, general musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory physiotherapy and manual handling training for carers and staff.
- Monthly team meetings to discuss current case load, session planning and complex case discussions. Team inservice/training as well.
- Be responsible for good communication between care providers, GPs, NDIS, interested parties and the client
- Complete NDIS reports and assistive technology prescription
- Part-time or full-time option available
