We are looking for a Gate Attendant to join our team and help maintain the high standards of service that our visitors expect.

As a match day attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venue on match days. Your primary responsibilities will include managing payments at entry and exit points, viewing entry passes tickets, conducting security checks, managing pass outs, fielding questions and providing exceptional customer service to our patrons.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Manage entry and exit points, ensuring efficient and safe access for patrons
  • Charge patrons the appropriate entry fee, utilising an EFTPOS terminal and the ability to handle and count cash
  • Approve entry by visually sighting Squadi application passes and handling any issues or discrepancies
  • Provide information and assistance to patrons, responding to queries and resolving issues
  • Collaborate with other match day staff both in person and on two-way radio, including security and event management teams
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons
  • Perform other duties as required, including assisting with crowd control and emergency response procedures

  • Ensure a 10 out of 10 customer experience
  • Ensure patrons are welcome to Paradise Park

Knowledge, skills, and behaviour required

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow two-way radio protocols
  • Ability to utilise EFTPOS terminal, and count cash to provide change to patrons
  • Basic knowledge of security procedures and protocols
  • Ability to lift and move equipment, as required
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and possibly public holidays
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to attendance and teamwork
