We're on the hunt for a bright, numerate and detail-oriented Junior Media Reconciler to join our growing finance team. This is an entry-level , in-office role, ideal for someone looking to kick-start their financial career. You don't need experience - just a natural aptitude for numbers, strong attention to detail, and the willingness to learn fast. If you're comfortable navigating spreadsheets and enjoy problem-solving, you'll thrive here.

An understanding of social media platforms like Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok will be helpful, as we work with these daily.

Responsibilities

As a Junior Media Reconciler, we will enable you with the skills to do the following:

  • Digital Platform Invoices: Routinely export invoices from digital marketing platforms (e.g., Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok) and import them into our finance system
  • Email Management: Serve as a point of contact for the accounts email inbox, ensuring inquiries are responded to in a timely and professional manner
  • Invoice Management: Send invoices and relevant correspondence to internal teams, maintaining a clear and organised system
  • Remittances: Dispatch monthly remittances accurately and on time
  • Payment Processing: Assist with weekly payment runs, helping to ensure vendors and partners are paid promptly
  • Reconciliation Support: Support the team with third-party invoice reconciliations, credit card statements, and client audits, checking for accuracy and ensuring completeness
  • Media System Data Entry: Assist with the daily updates required for digital media within our media / financial software programs, monitoring reports, and cross-checking processes
  • Project Support: Contribute to various ad-hoc finance or administration projects as needed


Requirements

  • You're eager to learn advertising and media industry financial and billing practices
  • You're confident with numbers and enjoy working with data and spreadsheets
  • You're organised, reliable, and have a keen eye for detail
  • You are a numerical first person with strong levels of detailed accuracy
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills with a strong comprehension of written and spoken English.
  • You're eager to learn and take on new challenges
  • You're comfortable using Microsoft Excel (even just the basics — we'll teach you the rest!)
  • You're familiar with social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok
  • You're a team player with a can-do attitude who's happy to lend a helping hand.
  • You can pick up new software easily e.g. Spectra Media Desktop (training provided).
