🚀 Product Manager Mission:
- Shape Product Strategy: Own the regional product roadmap and drive strategic planning tailored to each unique market.
- Market Insight & Analysis: Conduct market surveys and competitor benchmarking to understand local dynamics, customer needs, and partnership opportunities.
- Customer-Focused Innovation: Work closely with utilities and distribution partners to adapt, localize, and enhance smart metering and telecommunications solutions.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of existing and new products, ensuring commercial and technical alignment.
- Internal & External Influence: Build relationships with procurement teams, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to influence decision-making and close deals.
Requirements:
🔍 What You Bring:
- Industry Experience: Background in metering, utilities, or related product vendors (e.g. EDMI, Itron, Secure Meters, Genus).
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business instincts, ideally from a private enterprise. Able to develop business cases and support pricing/contract strategy.
- Technical Savvy: You've worked with or serviced technical products, especially those involving telecomms, electrical or software-based systems.
- Regulatory Awareness: Comfortable navigating industry regulations, sustainability requirements, and government-driven projects.
- Soft Skills: Tenacious, proactive, entrepreneurial. Skilled at influencing demanding customers and managing change in dynamic environments.
- Degree in Engineering , Electronics , Telecommunications , or Computer Science
- Background in project management, particularly with R&D or technical product delivery, is highly advantageous.
