About the CompanyOur client is a leading residential construction company specialising in large-scale townhouse developments. As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to lead the onsite delivery of our residential medium density projects.
Role OverviewAs a Senior Site Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day site operations of townhouse developments, ensuring construction is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the company's high standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a solid background in residential construction and a strong understanding of project delivery at scale. Exposure to commercial construction will be viewed favourably and considered a valuable asset in managing complex builds.
Key Responsibilities-
Manage all aspects of site operations from groundwork through to final handover

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met

Monitor and maintain compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards

Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve on-site challenges

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed to specifications and quality benchmarks

Prepare and manage site documentation, daily logs, and reporting

Drive a safety-first culture, ensuring OHS standards are strictly adhered to

Mentor and support junior site staff and supervisors

Minimum 5+ years' experience in site supervision, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead capacity

Proven track record on large-scale residential or townhouse developments

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Sound knowledge of construction processes, drawings, and building codes

White Card and relevant industry certifications (e.g., First Aid, Working at Heights, etc.)

Proficiency in project management software and digital site tools

Drivers licence and own transport

Previous experience in commercial construction (e.g., mixed-use developments, aged care)

Trade qualification or tertiary education in Construction Management or related field
