The Role:
We’re looking for a Experienced Beekeeping Assistant who shares our passion for bees and sustainability. In this role, you will:
• Assist in managing and maintaining our beehives across VIC/NSW region.
• Help with honey extraction, processing, and packaging under our Quality Control - HACCP.
• Monitor hive health regularly and assist in ensuring our bees thrive, Brood inspections, Queen Rearing , Pest & Disease Management.
• Participate in fieldwork, Honey Harvesting, Pollination Services,
• Support the team with day-to-day operations and contribute to our ongoing growth.
• Other duties as directed
About You:
• Outdoors Enthusiast: You love working outside and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty with a Willingness to Camp away from home when required.
Dedicated Professional: Committed to continuous learning and professional development in the field of beekeeping and honey production, including honey packaging and bee genetics.
• Bee-Friendly: Comfortable working with bees and not allergic.
• Reliable & Good-Natured: You bring a positive attitude and a dependable work ethic to the team with the ability to work away from home during peak times.
• Knowledge : A minimum 2 Years of commercial beekeeping experience with a through understanding of Apiary Disease.
• Licenses: Car License required, HR Truck license required, Forklift license Preferred, Skid-Steer license Preferred.
