About the roles
Council is seeking two detail-oriented team players to join our Finance team. As a Finance Officer, you will play a critical role in undertaking a variety of financial tasks and delivering excellent service to internal and external customers. Key responsibilities include: electronic banking, bank reconciliations, preparing the monthly BAS and maintaining an efficient accounts receivable function.
One position is permanent, full-time with access to a fortnightly RDO and the other position is part-time at 3 days per week until 30 June 2026.
About You
To be successful you will have:
- Certificate III in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent experience in a finance role
- Current drivers licence
- Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
