The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Manager (Clinical Records Service) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide effective strategic leadership of staff and operations
- Oversee the management of and adherence to all Clinical Records and Release of Information related policies, procedures and legislation
- Oversee the development and ongoing maintenance of training and workplace orientation packages
- Manage and implement quality improvement initiatives
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- While not mandatory, a qualification in Health Information Management would be well regarded
- While not mandatory, a qualification in training and assessment would be well regarded
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Temporary full time (up to twelve months with the possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $121 360 - $129 998 per annum, $4 651.70 - $4 982.80 per fortnight
