About us
The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.
About the role
The Digital Integration Specialist will provide technical specialist advice, design and delivery activities to support the successful design and delivery of Victorian government grant programs and Grants Centre's strategic objectives. This role will support digital integration activities across the end-to-end grant lifecycle, including form development, workflow automation, email campaign execution and system configuration.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have expertise in Salesforce along with a passion for problem solving, learning new systems, customer service delivery, process design and improvement. Additionally, proficiency to analyse information, design and manage email campaigns and forms is required to support communication strategies in line with grant processes, service level agreements, and customer needs. You will also have sound organisational and project management skills and be able to apply your expertise across a broad range of projects.
Key Accountabilities include
- Provide system (Salesforce, Jotform) technical specialist advice, configuration and execution services including digital form development and integration, email/SMS campaigns and automations as well as system setup, data upload, document generation, e-signatures and report creation.
- Manage relationships, consult and collaborate with stakeholders, policy owners, partners and 3rd party suppliers to facilitate streamlined digital interactions and system configuration across the program lifecycle.
- Plan, coordinate and execute a range of digital interactions and solutions to meet the needs of stakeholders and support the successful delivery of grant programs.
About you
To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in executing digital solutions such as webforms, email and SMS campaigns, and experience in system configuration for platforms such as Salesforce, Dashcord, Jotform and Conga, as well as conducting quality assurance activities.
- Data Literacy: Advanced reporting, data analysis and data migration skills and using tools such as Salesforce Inspector and Salesforce Data Loader. Analyse and considers information requirements to establish data parameters and sets, reports and visualisation to support decision making.
- Project Delivery: Demonstrated project management skills and understanding of government grant program management and delivery, risk and issues management, and program governance to maximise probability of success. Ability to work independently, prioritise and deliver multiple tasks to a high standard that enables achievement of outcomes required.
- Systems Thinking: Knowledge of existing and emerging digital platforms and technology solutions with an ability to analyse, solve problems, conceptualise and devise effective strategies and solutions for programs and audiences. Diagnoses trends, obstacles and opportunities in the internal and external environment that connect to own work and teams work; conceptualises and defines the systems working within the organisation.
- Stakeholder Management and Leadership: Ability to develop effective working relationships as a leader of a team delivering services to a wide range of stakeholders and suppliers in the private and public sectors to get the best outcomes for the individuals and the organisation. Proven skills in people management and/or team leadership with the ability to work flexibly, collaboratively, lead by example, build capability and capacity and deliver positive and effective outcomes in a fast-paced matrix environment.
Desired Experience/Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce, Dashcord, Jotform, Conga, Salesforce Data Loader and Salesforce Inspector would be well regarded.
- A relevant tertiary degree would be well regarded.
- Experience in government would be well regarded.
- Proficiency with Office 365 applications is required, in particular a high level of expertise with Excel, and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and OneNote.
