As the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) of our Operating Theatres at Wollongong Hospital, you will play an essential role in the smooth operation and growth of our Perioperative Services. As an experienced perioperative nurse in this management role, you will be a point of escalation and will oversee all clinical, administrative and personnel functions within the unit.
Due to the high acuity nature of Perioperative Services, no two days will be the same. In this role, you will be met with variety and daily challenges, all while aided by a highly skilled and supportive team. If you love a fast-paced environment with the ability to predict and solve issues, then this is the role for you!

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
