Description:

Provide high-level leadership to enhance fisheries management in the Northern Territory through engagement with Aboriginal communities, collaboration with ranger groups in aquatic resource management and the integration of Aboriginal rights and interests, as defined in the Fisheries Act, 1988, into fishery management systems. This includes providing strategic advice on cross government policies and the leadership of capacity building and engagement programs. The successful applicant will be appointed at either SAO1 or SAO2 level based on skills and experience.
