Quality Manager
As a result of Georgiou's significant growth, we are seeking an experienced and capable Quality Manager to join our Georgiou Team. As a Quality Manager , you'll be supporting and guiding our construction projects in their project deliveries and ensure compliance with their quality contractual and statutory obligations.
As part of a growing team with a commitment to excellence, you will be provided with challenging work on a wide range of construction/building/services and civil engineering projects. You'll collaborate with the construction teams and external stakeholders to ensure full quality compliance on our projects.
You will be trusted to:
1. Ensure all project works are compliant with the Quality Management System policies and procedures, ISO 9001:2015 and client requirements
2. Lead, manage, assess and report on the project quality management processes
3. Advice and guide project teams on the implementation of Project Plans, Quality Management Systems and compliance with the contract requirements, relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice
4. Implement systems that support the achievement and targets for quality and contract compliance on project objectives and deliveries
5. Implement an internal audit schedule based on risk assessment and accompanying reports, including corrective action
6. Plan, lead, undertake and coordinate internal and external audits including consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
7. Review project construction method statements, inspection and test plans and checklists against
8. Drive commitment to quality within project teams and promote a positive quality culture
9. Lead by example with project HSEQ objectives and be a key player in creating an exemplary safety culture aligned to the values of 'Safety is My Way'
What you're good at:
10. You're an engaged, focused and driven leader with high standards of work
11. Extensive operational experience in the application of quality management principles, preferred within a construction/building/services or civil services environment
12. Experienced and competent with your knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 requirements
13. Ability to influence others in order to gain their commitment to successfully collaborate to a course of action
14. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
15. Ability to quickly grasp concepts and apply innovative options for process delivery
16. Good multi-tasking and demonstrated sound judgements, including balancing competing concerns
17. Excellent interpersonal, technical written and verbal communication skills accompanied by competent presentation skills
18. Tertiary qualified (preferably engineering) and certified Lead Auditor
