FIFO Project Administrator
Alpha Mine Site Services & Construction is seeking an experienced and dedicated FIFO Project Administrator to assist our project administration team on the SCJV Perdaman Project. The successful candidate will be based on the project’s site in Karratha on a 2:1 roster and will be a key part of the site-based project team. This position is also responsible for supporting day-to-day operations and maintaining required project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing office supplies.
- Managing site mobilisation to coordinate the movement of personnel, equipment, and resources to and from the project site.
- Assisting with the onboarding of employees, new clients and contractors.
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, proposals and reports
- Providing administrative support to the project management team, such as scheduling site inspection and installations, managing correspondence and filing
- Reconciling office & personnel expenses
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of project administration processes and systems
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of document control systems, ensuring compliance with company and project requirements.
- Maintain and organise project documentation, ensuring documents are registered, filed, and easily retrievable.
- Track, monitor, and control all incoming and outgoing project documentation, ensuring version control and timely distribution to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that project documentation is stored in accordance with project-specific procedures, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards.
- Responsible for writing, distributing and saving meeting minute records.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a Project Administration role, ideally within the construction, engineering or mining industry.
- Previous experience working on-site in a mining environment is highly desirable.
- Intermediate Microsoft suite skills – excel, word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
