The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised Plant & Asset Coordinator to join our team here in Karratha.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the efficient allocation, scheduling and resourcing of plant equipment to meet operational requirements.

Working closely with Project and Workshop Teams, this role plays a critical part in ensuring that plant resources are deployed effectively across projects, minimising downtime and optimising utlisation and ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the allocation and scheduling of plant for various projects
  • Monitor utilisation and work with stakeholders to reallocate resources to maximise efficienies
  • Create detailed schedules ensuring alignment with project timelines
  • Address scheduling conflicts
  • Assist in ensuring all plant and equipment is serviced and compliant with requirements
  • Assist with maintaining accurate records of inspections, services and repairs
  • Utilise asset management software to track plant usage and generate regular reports on performance
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to manage plant hire, procurement and delivery schedules
  • Provide additional administrative support

Requirements/Skills

  • Proven experience in a similar role or scheduling field
  • Knowledge of plant and equipment in the Civil Industry - preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, adaptable and effective communication skills.
