The Opportunity

As Operations Manager, you will oversee key processing functions, ensuring seamless operations while upholding the highest standards of safety, product quality, and team leadership. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping operational success, fostering a high-performing culture, and ensuring the business meets its strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage primary and secondary aspects of processing operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality.
• Drive a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across all departments.
• Take a hands-on approach to production planning, resource allocation, and cost management, proactively identifying opportunities to optimise efficiency and meet performance targets.
• Champion workplace health & safety (WHS) and food safety (HACCP) standards, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Develop and mentor a strong leadership team, fostering growth, engagement, and best practices.
• Implement strategies to enhance operational performance, efficiency, and workforce capability.
• Work closely with Senior Management, actively contributing ideas and strategies to drive innovation and operational excellence across all areas of processing.
