Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review management reports, including monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations.
- Provide insights into financial performance, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
- Collaborate with production managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting for manufacturing processes.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform variance analysis and report on key financial metrics.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and compliance documentation.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient financial operations.
Requirements:
About You:
- Tertiary degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA/CA qualification (or in progress) is desirable.
- Immediately Available or available on short notice.
- Proven experience in management accounting, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sectors. Open to consider applications from all industries.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (experience with ERP systems like SAP or similar is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
