Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Freight Services Assistant Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced leader to support our Freight Team . In this role, you'll oversee the efficient receipt, dispatch, and distribution of road freight from the resort’s contracted carriers, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time.
What You’ll Need
- A valid HC Truck Licence
- Experience in temperature-controlled freight handling
- Strong mechanical understanding and practical problem-solving skills
- Forklift License
Key Duties
- Receive, dispatch, and distribute road freight efficiently, including loading/unloading trailers and ensuring timely deliveries across the resort.
- Manage freight documentation such as arrival notifications, manifests, and consignment notes using the TGE database.
- Operate forklifts and other tools to move freight safely, check deliveries for damage, and assist with recycling and contractor freight tasks.
