Our Client is a Townsville-based Government Department that works with other Government agencies to manage their building, construction, and maintenance requirements.
The Opportunity
Are you a driven and detail-oriented professional with experience in managing building projects? Join our team as a Project Manager in Townsville and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality construction outcomes that exceed customer expectations.
- Manage all phases of building projects, from planning and design to construction and completion, ensuring they meet customer needs and quality standards.
- Coordinate with team members, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Handle contracts using various systems to ensure smooth project progress.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and building strong relationships.
- Communicate and work with project teams to stay on schedule and meet milestones.
- Track project budgets and timelines, create reports, and review team performance.
- Support the Senior Project Manager with fee setting, billing approvals, and customer satisfaction.
- Follow and enforce quality standards throughout the project.
About You
- Proven experience in project management within the construction or building sector.
- Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and team performance effectively.
- A collaborative approach to working with diverse stakeholders and customers.
