We are seeking an experience EL1 Technical Delivery Manager for an exciting opportunity to join the NDIA's ICT Services Branch.The Agency ICT Services Branch is responsible for supporting all ICT systems and infrastructure excluding the primary business applications such as SAP CRM and Salesforce CRM.
In this role, you will demonstrate technical skills as EL1 Technical Delivery Manager and experience delivering ICT projects. You will possess effective people skills to lead and inspire the delivery team and display exceptional leadership qualities.
You will exhibit a positive contemporary attitude to people with disability and have a high-level understanding and knowledge of disability and its impact on individuals.
The following will be highly regarded:
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library v4 is highly recommended.
• Effective communication skills with ability to liaise with stakeholders of all levels
• Demonstrated experience managing project backlogs and high-level organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to the changing conditions of the work environment and promote continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated positive attitude towards people with disability, aligning with the core purpose of the NDIA.
• Established leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and deliver sprint ceremonies, daily stand ups and other delivery ceremonies.
The key duties of the position include
In the role of NDIA EL1 Technical Delivery Manager, tasks may include but are not limited to:
• Facilitating the team's delivery workflow and promoting continuous improvement.
• Managing and prioritising the backlog in collaboration with the Assistant Directors and Director.
• Maintaining the team momentum, identifying and removing blockers that inhibit progress.
• Working closely with the directorate, planning and executing the delivery of services and products.
• Tracking the progress and performance of the team, finding and reporting any areas skills or knowledge gaps and making sure deadlines are achieved effectively.
• Planning and coordinating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other delivery ceremonies.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues affecting diverse communities including those living with disability or possess the ability to develop that understanding. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
