Hazell Bros Group is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Asphalt and Sealing Managerto join our team. This role will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of Crossroads Asphalting projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and the highest quality standards.

Description

The ROLE

  • Demonstrate commitment to a safe working environment and contribute to the development of the Safety 1st culture.
  • Ensure compliance with Hazell Bro Group, OH&S regulations, work instructions, and procedures.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, productive team by conducting regular performance reviews and managing team dynamics.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting Hazell Bros products and services.
  • Work to meet and exceed customer expectations through effective communication and service delivery.
  • Oversee the safe and efficient completion of all activities on site.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of operations, providing improvement ideas where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with all business regulations and contractual terms related to cost and budgeting.
  • Identify resource and skills gaps, developing strategies for closing these gaps.

Skills And Experiences

About YOU

  • Extensive knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in the effective management and leadership of employees.
  • Demonstrated compliance management experience.
  • Ability to understand and manage client and project requirements.
  • Experience in identifying and addressing resource gaps and operational challenges.
  • Construction Industry White Card (or ability to obtain).
  • Drivers licence.
  • Certificates in project/construction project management (highly desirable)

Essential Knowledge

  • Job Safety Analysis, hazard awareness, identification and controls.
  • Established leadership and operational management skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory governance and legislative requirements.
