About the role
TAFE SA is seeking a skilled Cloud Systems Analyst to support our ICT Services division . In this role, you will coordinate and perform system administration, provide technical support, and work on various cloud-based technology projects. You will apply your technical expertise to implement, support, and develop ICT solutions that drive efficiency and enhance TAFE SA's cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, monitor, and administer TAFE SA’s cloud systems, implementing escalation processes to resolve ICT and business issues as needed.
- Conduct systems analysis to develop, implement, and support reliable ICT applications and solutions.
- Maintain accurate system documentation, including configuration and administration records, and prepare routine and ad-hoc technical reports on system performance and usage.
- Manage cloud system changes, assess the impact on business processes, and communicate updates effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience in providing, level 2/3 technical support including system administration and ICT service delivery in VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 environments.
- Expertise in managing and administering an Office 365 environment, including Exchange, PowerShell, backup technologies, and Active Directory services.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Hybrid Cloud technologies including Azure AD and knowledge of ITIL or equivalent framework and of relevant TAFE SA programs policies and activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work under limited direction, effectively manage priorities, plan and organise work, and utilise initiative and judgement, especially when precedents or procedures are not clearly defined.
- Highly effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with people at all levels, foster cooperation and support team members and present complex concepts clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to utilise appropriate methodologies, standards and tools to undertake systems analysis and problem solve, provide data, information and reports tailored to the technical level of an audience, and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Tertiary and/or industry certification(s)/accreditation(s) related to information technology.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Identity Management, Active Directory Federation Services, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Distributed File System Replication or Linux Server Administration is highly desirable.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- This role’s location is currently site specific, which may change due to the business needs of the role and TAFE SA.
- Out of hours work will be required
- Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required.
