SA Health invites passionate and talented individuals to join our team as a Part-time, Temporary Contract Social Worker - Paediatrics (Hills) at the BHFLHN Adelaide Hills Community Health unit within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As a Paediatric Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and health needs of children and their families referred to the Children's Health and Development (CHAD) Team. Leveraging your clinical expertise, generalist and/or specialist knowledge, and professional competence, you will plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive range of services tailored to the local community's needs.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with health professionals and service providers from various sectors, employing a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches. Your role will involve liaising with relevant agencies to ensure program integration and contribute to the growing Early Childhood Capacity.
To excel in this position, you must hold a recognised qualification within the Social Work Profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association. Additionally, you must possess a 2-year Master's degree with a related allied health undergraduate degree OR at least 2 years of post-graduate experience, demonstrating AHP2 level competencies for appointment at this level.
