About the role

We are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Administrative Officer to join our dedicated team in the Department of Nuclear Medicine, PET & Bone Densitometry. In this important front-line role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, creating a welcoming and professional environment. Your key responsibilities will include managing appointment bookings, answering enquiries, and providing general reception support with a high level of accuracy and empathy.

As part of our team, you will also play a vital role in coordinating patient billing processes and handling a variety of routine clerical tasks that keep the department running smoothly. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail, who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting and is committed to providing exceptional service to both patients and staff.

You are a motivated and professional individual with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional administrative support. To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.

  • Demonstrated experience in administrative tasks, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintaining confidentiality.

  • Sound knowledge of medical terminology and a confident, adaptable approach to handling sensitive or challenging situations.
