Description:
Our growing Agribusiness, located in Gatton QLD, is looking for a hands on, energetic and highly motivated Farm Hand/ Tractor Driver to join our team! Barden Farms is proud of their field and hydroponic farming operations, processing facilities and distribution centers located around Australia. Part of the businesses strength is that they can deliver fresh produce all year-round by having farming operations in a variety of different climatic zones.
About the Position:
Ordinary hours of work are Monday - Friday, however this position requires each candidate to have a level of flexibility.
A practical background in vegetable farming would be highly advantageous.
In addition, the following skills and experience will be required:
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Manual drivers licence
- Tractor driving/ experience driving a tractor (not essential but highly advantageous)
- Irrigation set up
- Drip tape laying
- General farm duties
