Job Description
We are looking for a Head of Architecture to lead the Enterprise Architecture function, ensuring that the technology ecosystem is scalable, secure, and capable of driving innovation, operational efficiency, and seamless integration across systems and services.
What is this role about?
As the Head of Architecture , you will define, develop, and implement a cohesive platform strategy that aligns with the organization’s business objectives while uplifting the maturity and capability of the underlying architecture function.
By establishing architectural principles, frameworks, and roadmaps, this function enables the organization to leverage modern platforms to optimize delivery, enhance customer experience, and achieve long-term sustainability. Additionally, it focuses on enhancing the architecture function through the adoption of best practices, improved governance, and the development of skills, tools, and processes to position the organisation for future growth and adaptability.

Enterprise Architecture Leadership
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap to align with the organization’s overall business goals and technological vision.
- Define, implement, and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and principles across the technology organization.
Strategic Alignment with Business Objectives
- Collaborate with executive leadership to understand and influence business strategy, ensuring architectural solutions support business outcomes.
- Lead efforts to identify innovative technologies and architectures that provide a competitive advantage and increase operational efficiency.
Application and System Design Oversight
- Guide and review the design of applications, systems, and platforms to ensure consistency, scalability, security, and optimal performance in alignment with regulatory guidelines and practices.
- Provide architectural governance and review processes, ensuring projects adhere to established architectural principles and best practices.
Technology Modernization and Innovation
- Lead modernization initiatives, including the transition from legacy systems to modern, cloud-based, or distributed architectures.
- Champion emerging technologies and methodologies such as microservices, APIs, containerization, and DevOps to enhance agility and speed of delivery.
Data Architecture and Integration
- Support strategies for data architecture that optimize data flow, integration, security, and analytics capabilities across the organization.
