Description:
Fuse Recruitment are currently sourcing for an experienced Quality Assurance Production operator to work in a Lab / production environment for a National Leader in their field specialising in building products.Located in the Parramatta region with onsite parking and also accessible by public transport. You will utilise 8 Tonne forklifts in this role so must have experience.
For You:
• Rosehill Location (Next to Parramatta)
• Building and construction industry
• 4 on 4 off shift
• 630am – 6:30pm for 4 days, then 4 days off
• $55 p/hr + Super (flat rate)
• Initial 2 month role
Shift Available:
• 6:30am – 6:30pm (12 hour shifts)
• This role is on a 4 on 4 off roster so you must be available to work on weekends.
Duties:
QA, Lab, Computer and Manual handling duties:
- Prepare goods for QA testing and sampling
- Unloading palletised goods for lab technicians to complete testing on
- Palletising finished goods from the lab
- Matching coding, and lab sample numbers to products
- Data entry of testing and sampling records
8 Forklift operation:
- Loading and unloading Rigids, B-Doubles and Semis
- Loading Oversized pallets up to 6 meters long
- Transfer products from the lab area to despatch area
- Transfer products to/from outside storage area.
- Transfer products from receiving to the lab
- Transfer products from the lab to production lines
Operating forklifts on shared roads, hence SNW valid Drivers license is needed for this role
This is a loud, dusty and at times dirty environment to work in.
The Candidates:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have:
- Current valid NSW LF Forklift license
- Current valid NSW Drivers license
- QA Laboratory / Production environment experience
- Data entry experience
- Ability to match bar codes, sample codes and Test numbers to products
- 8 tonne forklift operating experience
- Experience loading and unloading trucks (Rigids, B-Doubles and Semis)
- Experience in oversized pallets and working with ugly freight
- Pick packing, palletising stock
- Shrink wrapping (Both manual and machine operated)
- Experience working with oversized stock such as timber and wood products
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent WHS knowledge
- An ability to commit to the role in an ongoing capacity
