Description:

Fuse Recruitment are seeking an experienced Production Operator/Labourer to work day shift for our Manufacturing client in Eastern Creek.
The Company
Our client is a worldwide leader in PVC stabilizers, they are a vertically integrated company that manufactures many of its raw materials at its state-of-the-art production facilities. The company has developed its product range to meet the growing use of PVC in the world, and currently manufactures stabilisers as well as related additives. Due to high demand they are currently looking for another Production Operator on day shift.

  • 15 mins paid shower time at the end of each shift
Shift times:
  • Mon - Thurs: 6am - 4:30pm
  • Fri: 6am - 12:30pm
  • 8 hours normal time then OT rate after that
Duties and responsibilities
  • Weighing raw materials
  • Maintaining and operating of process and packaging equipment
  • Operating counterbalance forklift to load and unload materials (if you possess a LF license)
  • Machine Operation
  • Manual handling of up to 25kgs
  • Package materials and finished goods as required
  • Re-bagging materials, bags can be 25 Kgs in weight, batches can be made up to 1 Tonne of materials per run
  • Quality checking products
  • Writing down batch numbers of raw materials used on the back of batch sheets provided
  • Tablet / computer operation to enter Batch Machinery requirements
Skills and Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a similar industrial / chemical manufacturing environment (desirable)
  • Be physically fit and must be able to conduct manual handling duties up to 25kg (essential)
  • Experience handling with powdered chemicals (desirable)
  • Current forklift license (desirable)
  • Chemical Batching experience is advantageous
  • Must have Driver license and own vehicle (no public transport available to this site)
  • A strong commitment to work and willingness to learn
  • Must commit to the full working hours
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Must have Full Australian work rights
