Production Operator

Join a Leading Innovator in Glass Packaging! Our client, a top supplier of glass bottles and jars across Australia and beyond, is seeking experienced General Hand workers for ongoing roles at their Gawler Belt location. Be part of a team that excels in innovative glass packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Working 12 hour shifts on a rotating roster – day and night shift
• Monitor basement activities and ensure smooth operation (Basement Watch)
• Collect and recycle waste, using the Taylor Dunn unit and forklift
• Operate floor sweepers to maintain cleanliness across the site
• Perform general cleaning tasks, including under conveyors and inspection machines in the cold end and hot end
• Assist with manual handling tasks as required
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment
• Carry out any other duties as directed by supervisors

What We’re Looking For

• Current driver’s licence and reliable car, forklift licence advantageous
• Display a proven strong work ethic and work well within a team environment
• Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
• Be pro-active and show initiative and maintain a professional attitude and standard of work at all times
• Be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol and Fitness test
