We're seeking a results-driven Production Manager to spearhead our production operations and drive excellence in efficiency, quality, and cost management. As a strategic leader, you will oversee the planning and execution of production activities, leveraging your expertise to minimise changeovers, optimise shift coordination, and continuously improve performance. With a focus on staff development and empowerment, you will foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration, enabling our team members to contribute to achieve excellence. Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimise results.

Plan, monitor, and control all production activities to ensure seamless execution and maximum efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement run strategies, preventative maintenance, and process improvements.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement. Provide regular feedback, coaching, and training to develop a highly skilled, competent, and motivated workforce.

Develop and manage cost centre and capital spend budgets, reforecasting as needed. Prioritise spend and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Assist with new product development, product costings, and factory trials. Collaborate with Engineering and Planning teams to plan and commission process-related capital projects.

Uphold Kraft Heinz values and adhere to all company policies, programs, and goals related to Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources

Lead a team of Area Managers, Area leaders, Production Scheduler and Materials Scheduler.
About you:
-
A tertiary qualification in Manufacturing or significant experience in Production Management, with a strong understanding of process knowledge and operations.

Proven experience in labour supervision, team leading, and project management, with excellent communication skills to engage and motivate your team.

Strong planning and scheduling skills, with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to drive business results.

Experience with budget and cost control, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on optimising efficiency.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
