Job Description
- Lead the strategy, development, and innovation of Qantas’ end-to-end airport product portfolio across landside and airside touchpoints
- Drive transformation and elevate the customer experience (CX) through the design and delivery of airport products that meet evolving passenger needs

Qantas is seeking a Senior Product Manager Airport CX to lead the development and growth of its airport product portfolio, covering both landside and airside customer touchpoints. This pivotal role will oversee a range of key airport products and services, including Airport Check-in, Baggage drop, Security, Boarding, Arrivals, Transfers, and Airport Communications. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong strategic leadership capabilities, driving the direction and vision for Qantas' airport products, with a key focus on product innovation and enhancing the customer experience (CX) at airport touchpoints.
The Senior Product Manager Airport CX will bring substantial expertise in product management, overseeing product strategies, roadmaps and the development of new products within complex, high-paced environments. They will be responsible for driving transformation within Qantas' airport product offerings, ensuring that the organization stays ahead of the curve in providing exceptional airport experiences. This role also requires strong CX leadership, ideally from an aviation or airport background, and the ability to work with senior leadership to implement strategic change. A deep understanding of the aviation and airport industry, coupled with commercial acumen and exceptional stakeholder management skills, will be critical for success in shaping the future of Qantas' airport product portfolio.
You Will
- 10 + years’ experience in portfolio management, with extensive experience in strategic leadership and depth of experience in airline industry
- Proven CX leadership experience, ideally within aviation, airports, or related industries
- Strong expertise in product management, including product strategy, innovation, roadmaps, and new product development
- A demonstrated ability to drive transformational projects with a focus on digital/tech innovation across complex environments
- Solid business and commercial acumen, including skills in analysis, insight generation, and business case development
- A track record of influencing senior leadership to drive strategic changes
- In-depth knowledge of airport and airline operations, including the industry, competitive landscape, technology, and infrastructure
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, both with internal teams and external partners
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and influence decision-making
- Forward-thinking with the ability to think big picture, generate insights, and solve complex problems
