We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Eco Concepts Australia (QLD) Pty Ltd, trading as Eco Outdoor, based in Fortitude Valley QLD.
This role will draw on your existing account management and industry knowledge to advance our client’s outcomes and promote sales growth. You will have broad client responsibility across Queensland including a mix of end users (B2C) and distributors (B2B). This role will only suit a motivated, tenacious and successful professional with a true passion for the surfaces industry. You will work with our portfolio of architectural surfaces and furniture providing solutions for end clients.
Job Description:
The role of technical sales representative is focused on developing sales through knowledge of technical information related to our products and demonstrating their suitability to meet customer needs. This is a full-time role with a salary of $70,000 to $75,000 AUD.
You must have strong knowledge of architectural surfaces and outdoor furniture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Organising sales meetings to grow business opportunities for prospective clients
- Visual Merchandising in QLD Showroom
- Networking with industry professionals, including architects, builders and landscape professionals
- Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish relationships and provide solutions
- Creating and maintaining a database of prospective client businesses using organic and non-organic leads
- Manage sales pipeline and compile reports for management regarding sales and potential sales
- Reporting on competitor activity and changing market conditions
- Your role involves quoting and negotiating prices and recording orders
- After sales service to ensure customers are satisfied with goods and services purchased
- Resolving any post sale issues related to product
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and at least two years relevant work experience
- Knowledge and understanding of architectural surfaces and outdoor furniture
- Experience dealing with complex sales - our consultative solutions can multiple years
- Experience in managing sales and marketing events
- Fluent English
- Retail and B2B experience, especially in selling high value surfaces and furniture
