Are you passionate about supporting elite sportspersons and performers on their journey to success? We’re looking for a dynamic ESP Coordinator to lead the Elite Sport and Performer (ESP) Program at VU!

About the Role
As the ESP Coordinator, you'll be responsible for the planning, development, and promotion of cutting-edge support services designed to help elite sportspersons and performers thrive academically and professionally. Your expertise will help shape the future of the ESP Program through ongoing development and expansion.
Some of your duties include:
- Coordinate the Elite Sport and Performer (ESP) Program, serving as the primary contact for internal and external inquiries provide case support and advocacy for elite student-sportspersons and performers.
- Facilitate the study assistance components of the guiding principles of the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Elite Sport Education Network (ESEN) with key student service and academic staff to support flexible study arrangements, resolve timetable issues, assessment and placement flexibility, admissions support along with wellbeing and related services.
- Liaise effectively and at a high level with organisational units, internal/external stakeholders beyond the immediate team to contribute to the development of an integrated and holistic ESP program
- Elite travel grants, fitness centre access, allied health services, and other program benefits.

About You

- Demonstrated ability and experience in the administration and delivery of high-performance sport programs and/or events preferably in a University environment.
- Demonstrated ability and experience working collaboratively and effectively with both students and external stakeholders and/or the sports/community sectors, preferably in a university environment.
- Understanding of university practices and systems relevant to elite sport and performer support, including academic flexibility and student welfare.
- Demonstrated ability to represent VU in a professional and exemplary manner, underpinned by an understanding of discretion, diplomacy and good judgement.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills , as well as presentation and report writing.
Conditions & Benefits
This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) continuing role offered at HEP 6 classification with salary range being $ $88,691- $96,001 (pro rata) per annum plus 17% superannuation, working 4 days (29.4 hours) per week
