About The OpportunitySome of your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee job progress from start to finish, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimal downtime
- Track job hours, reduce waste, and look for ways to enhance efficiency and profitability
- Training and mentoring apprentices, fostering their technical skills and confidence
- Working closely with the Service Advisor to ensure timely and high-quality repairs
- Aiming to achieve workshop KPIs and quality assurance targets consistently
- Perform detailed checks and ensure all work meets compliance standards
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Roadworthy Certification and Experience (Highly regarded)
- Certificate III In Light Vehicle or Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- A proven background in leading automotive teams, driving performance, and mentoring staff
