The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, SEE Group have an exciting opportunity available for a qualified Diesel Fitter to join our highly professional and skilled Fleet Team. This is a diverse and fast-paced role with a variety of work. This is a full-time local position which will see you performing field service repairs and maintenance on our extensive range of plant and equipment in Tenterfield.
Responsibilities will include;
- Repair, servicing and maintenance of earthmoving plant, equipment, and light vehicles.
- Implement and adhere to asset maintenance scheduling.
- Travel between project sites and perform work in a field environment.
- Carry out lockout and tag-out systems in accordance with legislative requirements and company policy.
- Provide technical expertise to project teams and provide basic service training to plant operators where required.
- Essential Skills and Attributes
- Background in Heavy Plant, Mechanical and Electrical processes.
- Clear understanding of excellence in customer service.
- Proven management skills, practices, and planning ability.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities.
- Highly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating, and administering contracts.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Computer literacy, particularly experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
