A fast-growing technology company is seeking a Team Lead to lead a team of API and UI engineers focused on enhancing the user experience of advanced Linux-based sensor systems. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone passionate about developing functional, intuitive interfaces for high-performance embedded products.
As the lead, you’ll drive frontend development, interface closely with AI/ML, RF, and data science teams, and help scale a platform powering next-generation electronic detection technologies.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and grow a team of 5–6 engineers working across frontend UI and API development
- Build and maintain intuitive, performant interfaces for embedded devices
- Translate complex system requirements into user-friendly software features
- Drive testing, documentation, and delivery of production-ready code
- Collaborate across technical teams to deliver cohesive end-user experiences
- Mentor team members and promote best engineering practices
- Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term tech strategy
What You Bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 2+ years of experience in a team leadership role
- Strong background in C++ and JavaScript (React preferred), and comfortable writing Python
- Familiarity with API integration
- Experience working in Linux environments with modern CI/CD tooling
- Comfortable with Git, Docker, and collaborative development workflows
- Deep appreciation for clean code, automated testing, and continuous delivery
- A learner’s mindset—motivated, curious, and passionate about solving tough problems
Bonus Points For
- Experience with real-time data processing or embedded systems
- Knowledge of web security principles in embedded environments
- Background in building large-scale, modular web applications
- Familiarity with signal handling or telemetry-driven user interfaces
