Job DescriptionNQ Truck Wreckers This job is located in Mareeba Requirements: Are you an Book-Keeper and Administrative Superstar? NQ Truck (& 4WD) Wreckers (Mareeba) is looking for an Book-Keeper/Administration officer to join our small office team. Ideally you will be a self starter, with keen eye for detail and solid administration experience. Level 4 or 5 Clerks Award applies.
- This job is a minimum of 5 hours/day 4 days/week i.e. minimum hours per week.
More hours available if desired. Hours are to be worked every day for a minimum of 5 hours, Monday to Thursday between 7am and 5pm
- Due to the necessity for extensive experience minimum age is 25.
- With a demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and be computer literate in internet based programs/interfaces
- NOTE this is not for someone who is hoping to transition to Admin
- experience is required!
- High level organisational skills
- Computer skills
- extensive MYOB, Microsoft Outlook & Excel and PDF as a minimum
- Technical troubleshooting
- ability to ‘follow your nose’ to troubleshoot and solve technical issues with printers, scanners, computers, internet, log-ons and updates
- Immaculate attention to detail and spelling
- Confident telephone manner
- Friendly and personable (this is a small business of up to 9 staff) and we have a fantastic camaraderie amongst existing staff
- you must not only fit in, but be engaged
- Basic automotive components knowledge
Duties:
- Maintaining a Transaction Register of vehicle purchases and other excel spreadsheets (note this requires physically inspecting each vehicle as it arrives to photograph and catalogue it).
- Troubleshooting Computer/Technical issues such as Internet, Printers, Log Ons and Updates
- Must have extensive Myob
- invoicing, payments, reconciling, payroll, BAS, reports
- Back-up/Assist Front Desk staff with
Booking freight (mostly online) Assisting in answering phones and returning calls Prioritising work/jobs Co-ordinating incoming, in-progress and out-going jobs
- Maintaining stationery levels
This can be a hectic environment some days, so must be able to cope, be flexible and must be able to multi-task. It is a compact busy office so ability to co-operate and be mindful of the other staff is also important. Award rates under Clerks Private Sector
