We are seeking a talented and dedicated Cardiac Scientist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Birtinya, Noosaville and Gympie.
About the role
As a Cardiac Scientist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality cardiac diagnostic services, monitoring, and care to our patients. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a leading cardiology clinic and contribute to the overall well-being of the community.
What you'll be doing

Performing a variety of cardiac diagnostic tests, including Electrocardiograms (ECGs), Exercise Stress Tests, Holter Monitoring and 24hr Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring

Assist in the monitoring of patients with implantable loop recorders (ILRs)

Analysing and interpreting cardiac data to assist in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions

Providing support and education to patients throughout the diagnostic process

Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care

Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all cardiac diagnostic procedures

Adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and safety protocols

Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac science
We are looking for
The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Medical Science, Biomedical Science, Exercise and Sport Science, or a related field

Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Cardiac Scientist in a healthcare setting

Strong technical expertise in performing and interpreting a range of cardiac diagnostic tests

Prior experience with GE Case Systems and GE MARS/Cardioday Holter software, highly desired

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, medical professionals, and the broader healthcare team

A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
