The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Shift Technician will have a key role in assisting with maintenance across the site. The role is a fixed day shift, on a roster.
- Oversee production staff tasks, prioritise breakdown repairs, and ensure all preventative and scheduled maintenance is completed on time.
- Manage GMP training, maintain inventory of necessary parts, and implement control procedures such as work orders and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Work closely with production teams to assess equipment needs, coordinate and supervise maintenance contractors, and ensure inductions are completed.
- Promote workplace health and safety by adhering to company policies, addressing hazards promptly, and reporting incidents or near misses.
- Uphold food safety and quality standards by ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Trade Certification – ideally mechanical
- Must have bottling machinery experience to be considered for this role***
- Krones high speed machinary required**
- Restricted Electrical – desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
