About the Role
Opportunities are currently available at our Goonyella Riverside Mine for Coal Processing Technicians to work on a Lifestyle Roster (day and night shifts) reporting to the Supervisor Processing.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, health, the community and the environment
• Working cooperatively within a team to achieve production targets
• Operation of Coal Processing plant
• Train Loadout and ROM’s
About You
The successful candidate will have:
• Minimum ‘C’ Class Driver’s licence
• Demonstrated commitment to ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace including willingness to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with site procedures
• Demonstrated experience in a Coal Processing Plant
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively integrate into new teams and focus on teamwork
• Continuous improvement mindset and aptitude to learn and acquire new digital and technological skills
• Willingness to proactively contribute ideas to solve problems and improve existing processes and tools.
