You’ll lead and shape user experiences across a suite of analytical tools and platforms that are central to strategic decision-making. The Role
As the Lead UI/UX Designer, you’ll support the delivery of the Division’s Analytical Needs Implementation Roadmap. You’ll work across several platforms and products to ensure intuitive, consistent, and seamless user experiences. This includes end-to-end design work from research to prototypes - ensuring the final outputs meet user needs and align with broader organisational goals.You’ll also work closely with business stakeholders and executives, iterating based on real user feedback and guiding the design vision.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Create and maintain design systems for consistency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine requirements
- Present and iterate designs based on feedback
- Ensure designs align with front-end development principles
You're a creative thinker with a user-centred mindset, experienced in design systems, prototyping, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to create simple, engaging user experiences.
With strong skills in user research, wireframing, and tools like Adobe XD and Photoshop, you bring a solid understanding of front-end principles. You have over 5 plus years of experience working within a large-scale program ideally with federal government agencies.
Salary / Rate
- $125/hr - $150/hr including Super
- Full time contract
