About the opportunity
Opportunity to lead UX design in Marketing and Communications at the University of Sydney
The Digital Performance team is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team and ensure user experience is prioritised and optimised across our digital platforms, focusing on the highly trafficked University of Sydney website.
You will lead the UX team in Marketing and Communications and work collaboratively with the development team and stakeholders in implementing the University’s design system on our website and other digital properties. You will lead and direct user research and other processes to help inform decision making, get stakeholder buy-in, and promote user-centred design.
You will be able to provide subject matter expertise on industry best practice and emerging relevant tools, so that we can optimise the way we work and how we deliver experiences to our users.
About you
- proven experience in a similar role within a large matrix organisation
- demonstrated experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
- exemplary leadership and strong stakeholder management skills
- demonstrated in-depth understanding of UX/UI, and an understanding of latest design and technology trends and their role in a commercial environment
- showcases knowledge of wire-framing tools, storyboards, user flows, and site mapping
