Founded in 1985, our client is a highly respected name in electrical services throughout Regional Victoria. Known for delivering exceptional workmanship and dependable customer service, they specialise in ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency for their clients. They are now seeking a Qualified Electrical Trade Technician - Automation to join their skilled and supportive team.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic, well-established company. Based in Shepparton , Victoria , you'll play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The role offers full-time hours, competitive pay , and a chance to build a long-term career in the Electric Motor industry .
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems, motors, and machinery
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving electrical faults
- Installing, upgrading, and modifying electrical systems as required
- Maintaining accurate records and reports of completed work
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical and safety standards
- Working collaboratively with the wider maintenance and production teams to optimise performance and minimise downtime
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified electrician with a current licence
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Strong technical knowledge of motors, control systems, and industrial machinery
- Confident using electrical diagnostic and testing equipment
- Proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on safety
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
