The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to ensure our site operates efficiently, safely, and reliably. This hands-on role involves maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of equipment, from utility services and processing machines to packaging lines and distribution systems.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure Reliability: Support the Site Reliability Managers and Engineers to maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Diagnose and Fix Issues: Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and root cause analysis on site equipment.
- Collaborate with Experts: Work with external providers to meet reliability goals.
- Optimize Inventory: Use our CMMS system (MEX) to manage parts and servicing schedules effectively.
- Mentor and Train: Share your expertise by coaching the reliability and operations teams on safe and efficient procedures.
- Lead Improvements: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site performance.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented technician with a strong focus on safety.
Required Skills & Experience :
- A-Class Electrical License with experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
- Proficiency in CMMS systems and inventory management.
- Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, SCADA systems, and schematic diagrams.
Highly Regarded Skills :
- Boiler and steam maintenance qualifications.
- Formal training on Tetra UHT filling and packing systems.
- Forklift license.
Your Attributes:
- A “can-do” attitude with exceptional attention to detail, especially regarding safety.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to provide on-call assistance when required.
