Description:
Marlin Coast Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced and professional Senior Receptionist to start immediately, working a variety of shifts on our busy reception desk (which will include day, evening and some weekend shifts).
The role
This role is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service, as first point of contact for our clients, we are seeking someone who will provide a positive experience whilst assisting with administrative responsibilities such as:

Provide a professional frontline reception experience

Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone

Oversee and manage the reception team, including scheduling, training and performance evaluations

Administration support to our team of specialists, Veterinarians and Nurses
-
Product sales and client education
-
A permanent full-time role with variety
-
Monday to Friday, 10 hour shifts within the hours of 7.00 am – 7.30 pm (4 shifts per week)

Some Saturday work required (estimated 1 in 4)

Industry specific training will be provided to the right candidate
Requirements:

Proven reception and administration experience

Committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients, customers and staff
-
Mature with the ability to remain professional while dealing with a diverse clientele and a range of animals entering the clinic
-
Able and willing to work with a sense of urgency at times & effectively multi-task
-
Has an enthusiastic and positive approach to their work and the team
-
Intermediate computer skills with the ability to pick up a new client booking system.

Possibly have worked as a Veterinary Nurse in the past and have demonstrated triage skills (although please note that this role does not contain any nursing responsibilities and will not lead to a Veterinary Nursing position).
